Our caregivers

The best in Home Care Industry.

Our caregivers are carefully recruited and are employees of Highland Wood Home services

They are chosen based on our corporate philosophy to provide the best practices in the home care industry. In addition to thorough interviews and background checks, our recruiters must feel comfortable entrusting the caregiver with their own family member before they are qualified to work with clients. We only hire caregivers who are deeply compassionate and wholly committed. For further details, please refer to The Recruitment Process. Additionally, you don’t have to worry about federal, state, or local labor costs, as we cover all employer taxes, bonding, general liability, and workers’ compensation insurance. For further details, please see Quality Guidelines.

Our caregivers receive thorough training and professionally supervised.

Highland Wood Home services provides a minimum of ten (10) hours of initial training for each caregiver, with five (5) hours before their first assignment and the remaining five (5) hours within the first thirty (30) days of employment. All training is documented and maintained in the caregiver’s file and/or training log for tracking purposes. For more information, please refer to Training. Moreover, our supervisors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure everything runs smoothly, and we consistently monitor the caregiver-client relationship. For more information, please see Quality Guidelines.
